This man is one of the few lawyers I've dealt with that has demonstrated genuine & productive empathy. I was held on no bond for a serious charge and my brother reached out to Mr. Elmen. He came to visit same day, took notes & asked great questions, assured me I wasn't a bad person & that he knew how to help. Only lawyer that has offered to file a motion to help get me out of custody sooner. Incredible guy. Only spoke with him for about 30 minutes, but it got me through a hard time. I retained Robert Elmen as my attorney for a misdemeanor I was charged with in Washtenaw Co. Mr. Elmen not only made the entire process seem very easy and comfortable, but he was able to have the charge reduced to a parking violation with a small fine. On top of that I received no points on my driving record and have no criminal record. I recommend this attorney in the highest possible regard.

I was very impressed by Mr Elmen when he helped my friend recently with a legal matter in Washtenaw circuit court. Mr. Elmen was extremely empathetic and understanding of my friend and the case, yet in court he could really put the hammer down when it mattered.
